The SRMs (B series) are ideal for industrial applications due to its advantages including low cost, wide speed range (speed ratio 1:20), wide torque range (200% overload) and robustness. They can be operated in harsh environment such as high ambient temperature and high pressure. With the ability of working in 4 quadrants, it can forward and reverse frequently and reliably. Besides, it performs well in low speed with load for a long period without dissipating too much heat. The cooling system is simple because the majority of copper and iron losses only exist in the stator. The SRM of different power ratings (max. 10kW) we provide serves as the drive motors in the test system and the stator windings can be adjusted to meet more testing requirements.
